Music & Mindfulness is a unique camp experience for children who are interested in an introduction to playing the ukulele and djembe drum. Many children who attend camp decide after a week if they want to continue private study. This is a great way to introduce a child to playing an instrument for the first time. All campers will have a daily group ukulele and djembe lesson, will practice rhythm and tonal work through drumming, song and dance, and have tons of fun! Every day, we will have a craft activity to inspire mindfulness as well as a general practice. Our camp will start and end with breathing exercises. We will have fun singing, dancing, drumming, and playing instruments! We will also practice gratitude, make crafts that will calm the mind, help with focus, and will help children reflect on kindness for each other and their family members.

Music & Mindfulness will help keep your child busy learning while also acquiring important life skills. On Friday, all parents and or caregivers are invided to a demonstration showing some of the skills and music they learned throughout the week.
